About John Money

It was love at first dance for John Money. Country Western was big in Memphis, TN and in 1993 John got his first taste. He soon found himself out dancing every night away. Going to different places he expanded his dancing to include salsa, hustle, west coast swing and lindy hop. But that still wasn't enough, he decided to get more training. That was when he took his first dance lesson. By the end of the lesson John knew that he had found his calling. He was no longer interested in just furthering his own dancing, he wanted to share it with other people.

John began teaching in 1996, and soon moved to Dallas, TX. It was there that he began traveling to competitions with his students and before long was the top teacher in his school. After three years an opportunity to help open a school in Atlanta, GA presented itself. Moving to Atlanta and seeing a school being built from the floor up offered John the chance to train both staff and students from the very beginning.

It was during his time here that John began to compete on a professional level. He has placed in Smooth and Rhythm styles in both regional and national competitions. Dancing professionally has given him a chance to work closely with many top professional coaches and choreographers, and develop his own dancing to a higher level.

John's dedication to both his own, and his students dancing has enabled him to train hundreds of happy students. His students range from those who just want to have fun all to way to his competitive students; some who are ranked in the top 100 in the Dancesport Series. He is a registered Professional member of the National Dance Council of America (NDCA) and holds many teaching certificates and awards in the business. Now that he has started his own dance company, John is committed to delivering the highest quality of dance instruction and customer service.
